UW-Madison Continuity of IT Operations
Maintaining infrastructure to support instruction and research at UW-Madison and beyond
This site provides ongoing news, context and information about how IT services are affected during a major incident. Campus enterprise systems and services are ultimately managed by the CIO, through DoIT. DoIT has a Continuity Of Operations Plan (COOP) which addresses a variety of scenarios that may adversely affect the delivery of tech services. Many Colleges and departments have their own COOP plans, which are dependent on infrastructure provided by DoIT. Beyond infrastructure support noted here, each department is responsible for its own systems.
