Many UW-Madison academic departments and business units rely on access to a variety of IT systems to support their daily work. These systems are hosted and maintained by multiple providers across campus, and each system has its own unique process for requesting and obtaining access.

This page is hosted by the CIO as a resource for those who may get involved in securing access to campus IT systems for themselves or others. It consolidates information about the systems most frequently used to perform administrative duties and provides links to the appropriate access request forms.

GradApply		HR, Student	Aids academic departments in hiring and placing graduate assistants.
GWIS		Student	Allows applicants, departments and the Graduate School Office of Admissions to track and update an applicant's progress in the admissions process.

Insurance Prepay	Insurance Prepayment System	Benefits, HR	Facilitate management of an employee's insurance enrollment records in order to eliminate loss of coverage, especially for those employees having an interruption in their payment schedule (i.e. LOA or Seasonal)
ISIS		Payroll, Student	Student administrative services spanning everything from SOAR and admissions through graduation and alumni records. Also creates the timetable.
