Software testing now saves money later

The cost of fixing an application in production is roughly four times the cost of fixing it in a test cycle. DoIT's new Software and Load Testing (SALT) service helps UW program managers, application developers, coders and other IT staff identify problems before a project is launched. SALT testing uses the Empirix software suite. Use of the software is currently free (subject to change); consultation is available for a fee. SALT services include:
