Awareness Programs

OCIS produces a variety of public education materials for campus, including posters, bookmarks and articles, to help users understand safe computing best practices. Events, such as October Cyber Security Awarness Month and Lockdown, further promote these principles and provide hands-on learning opportunities. Many of these resources are available at no charge. OCIS is teaming up with DoIT Professional Technical Education (PTE) to sponsor a UW-Madison Security Training Series for campus IT professionals. Course materials are available online.
