Reporting an Incident to BadgIRT
What are Received: lines of an email?
Received: lines of an email sent through the Internet indicate the email servers that helped deliver an email to its final destination. This information can be valuable in tracking the origin and route of a specific email.
Normally, the Received: lines of an email are not displayed by the email client. However, most email clients offer functions that will allow you to view the Received information.
Instructions for viewing Received information by email client.
BadgIRT would prefer all emails submitted as evidence include Received: lines.
